Lubricants and Oils
General lubricants:
Grease: Conpanna (recommended), Buzzy's Slick Honey, Slickoleum.
Oil Rings: 20wt oil for 5-10 minutes.
Air chamber oil: Non-EQ forks use 3cc of 20wt oil. EQ forks use 1-2cc of 20wt oil.
Oil Bath:
Forks Pre-2025 do not use an oil bath.
2025 Durolux/Auron Oil bath: Damper side uses 20cc of 5wt oil. Air side uses 15cc of 20wt oil.
How do I choose a damper?
SR Suntour produces upwards of 150 different damper cartridges and finding the one for your fork may seem like a daunting task. Despite the number of cartridges we offer, finding the one you need is relatively easy:
Remove the stock cartridge from the fork (may require specific tools).
On the side of each cartridge is a cartridge number: FUNXXX-XX.
Search this cartridge on the North American web site and it should bring up the exact cartridge.
In the slim chance that the site does not provide your cartridge number, contact customer service for a potential alternate.
